The Wrench - MTB Mechanic
Want to have your bike set up and suspension dialled in by a World Cup Mechanic? Book a Telemetry session with THE WRENCH and spend the day with Matteo Nati, 13 year World Cup MTB mechanic. While Matteo is working on your bike you can ask questions and learn what tips and tricks the pro's use on different terrains.
Learn about suspension set ups, and how to tune yours for your riding style. Learn how to record your settings and have the opportunity to use the new data acquisition technology to read your suspension live on track and make adjustments to get it perfect for you.
Matteo has worked on the World Cup MTB Circuit since 2013, with riders such as Dan Atherton, Jerome Clementz, Martin Maes, Wyn Masters, Marco Osborne, Anton Cooper, Keegan Swenson, George Brannigan, Jess Blewitt, Katie Winton, Noga Karem and many others.
TELEMETRY SESSION COST: €350 includes 2 single uplifts
EXPECTED TIME: 9:00 - 17:30
DAY LAYOUT:
Meet before 9:00 at F.O.R Bikepark and mount the Telemetry on the bike and note what are the current suspension settings. Take single uplift shuttle to The Din dropoff point (or track of choice).
Once on track we will ride together from the Din to Calice, and stop at intervals on the track to take data readings from the telemetry and make adjustments to the suspension following what is recorded in the data. The track is split into four sections in order to take four different readings on a variety of terrain.
Second run is from Nato Base to Feglino, also split into four sections.
At the completion of the day once the suspension is set up for all terrains, we roll down to Finalborgo to analyse the data and partake of a cold beverage!
